What's with the unison knob?
« on: April 18, 2010, 08:16:05 pm »
Every time I attempt to use the unison feature in V2 it(besides adding a huge cpu drain) eventually stops all sound coming from the Prophet in Pro Tools and the only way to get things going with it is to re-instance the instrument.  This knob is supposed to make the Prophet sound massive but instead gives me a massive headache!? ::)

I have an iMac that's several months old and Prophet V version 2, using Cubase LE4.  I'm trying to remember if I've activated the Unison button when it wasn't already on in version 2.  If you pick a patch that already has the Unison button on, it works doesn't it?  This would be a pain, but you could write down the settings for a non-unison patch and then pick a patch that already has Unison on & then tweak all the knobs to match the original non-Unison patch.
