dongle = usb stick???
« on: December 19, 2009, 02:37:50 am »
forgive my ignorance.  i'm very new to this dongle business as the software i've been using up to this point has not required it.

i have a few blank usb drives/sticks.  may one of these be used to enable the use of the Mg modular v 2.5 on more than one system, or do i need to buy a specific dongle for this process?

i'm embarrassed to not know the answer to this.  don't make fun of me too much!  :D

You need to use a Synchrosoft key/dongle (Steinberg Key in the USA).

There is also a specific page on our website, even if a bit outdated (Syncrosoft is now Steinberg eLicenser).
