copying a preset
« on: May 17, 2009, 10:48:34 pm »
hi,

i'm new here... working with Arturia synths since a half year.
one question i have regarding the jupiter 8v: i understood the difference between "patches" and "programs". The patches are only holding which program (sound) you select, and modus: whole, dual, split or the modulation zone and some other settings. the programs are the sound settings (Oscillator, Filter, LFO and so on).

now my problem: it's not a problem to dublicate a PROGRAM, it will apear in the program list and i can select it from a new generated patch in the user library.

But if i want to copy also the other settings, modulation and so on, i also have to copy the PATCH with all the other settings from the library. But if i want to copy a patch, the software always wants me to select a PROJECT. there's no way to tell "i don't want it in the PROJECTS, i want it in the user library". if i type in a new project name, it will generate a new entry in "Project > [Name of the Project]"

i want my dublicated PATCH in my userlibrary. any soluton? am i doing something wrong?

i'm using jupiter 8v version 1.1 on an intel Mac.
