Prophet V and the VST Problem

I have recently purchased the V Collection and was looking forward to using the Prophet V, has a solution been found to why the stand alone version works but the VST plug in doesn't, I've tried in Orion Platinum (my main sequencer program) and Cubase, Prophet crashes in both programs, I have updated everything.........

I seem to have solved the problem - I have all my VST plug ins installed in the Orion Platinum VST folder - they all work exept Prophet V - I installed them all in the Steinberg VST folder as well and they all work exept for Prophet V but by linking the Steinberg VST folder to the Orion Platinum VST folder Prophet V does work....... success but I'm not sure how...
