v collection like the origin?
« on: February 13, 2008, 12:35:37 pm »
Hi,
I was wondering if the synths in the v collection can use each others' modules like the arturia origin hardware?

For example: a waveform from the mini Mg using the arp's filters
or the waveform going through the jupitor's lfos

do you think they will have this feature in the future?

thanks for any help

The V Collection is exactly that - a collection of the original virtual instruments. They do not mix and mingle components.

One of the main features of the Origin is the synergistic aspect of the various components. There's no option to use the Galaxy module from the Jupiter 8V inside the miniMgV plug-in, but it's something you can most certainly do with the Origin. To me, the ability to put modules together from various synths is one of the most compelling reasons for an Arturia plug-in owner to go for the Origin. It's more than the sum of its parts.
