Crash loading a 44.1khz 24bit sample on 1.7.1
« on: January 27, 2014, 10:37:47 pm »
When I create a new kit, load a 44.1khz 24bit sample from the "Studio" from Disk it crashes. I'm on W7, 64bit. Anyone experiencing the same problem? Ideas to fix it?

The file is attached if one wants to try it. It came from NI Battery 4.

Spark can easily load 44.1kHz 24Bits files.
I don't see you attachment.
Try to copy your file elsewhere and load it again.
.......testing.......

The file is here http://www.filedropper.com/kickalphabetical8

One or twice I have been able to load it. Then load another file it crashes again. If it does load, it sounds a lot worse then the "Auto Preview". The preview sounds good, but the same loaded file sounds bad, almost "bitcrushed". I'm on the standalone SparkLE.

Thank you Ben for looking into that!
