Hi,
Really enjoying the micro so far!
And now that someone has made a synth with a sequencer like the 101 I can finally leave that at home for live sets
One thing that I noticed is that the gate settings (short-medium-long) don't have any effect when sequenced from an external trigger (909 rim for me)
This is a bit of a problem because when sequencing from triggers the pulse is so short that the attack part of the envelope gets lost.
It would be nice to have an option for the step to hold (like a ong gate) until the next pulse comes. I'm pretty sure this is how it works on the 101.
I was thinking that this could be solved by using a long gate setting but this only seems to work when using the internal clock (haven't tried midi).
I am able to trigger the steps from my korg esx1 with a sample of a square wave (just the positive section) and thought that just using a longer sample of the same would work but that somehow doesn't do it either... don't know what's wrong there.
It might be a nice idea to also have a mode that advances steps at any incoming midi note, or on a specific channel for those without triggers and gates that want a less regualar clock...
Anyway, just some ideas. Fantastic machine!
