minilab not issue but annoying
« on: August 27, 2013, 04:35:03 pm »
Hi Arturia and users ,
Overall the minilab integrates well , i like the quick flipping of snapshots  , however what annoys me is
when assigning CC controllers to pads and using the 'TOGGLE' mode (and dumping these  with the Mcc software to minilab flashmem)  when you then use it with software to control for instance a drum vsti , the problem is then when you press a pad(s)
(TOGGLE) and it stays lit to indicate that it's toggle status is on , as soon as you select another snapshot (with shift and a padbank 1-8) and toggle other pads and you return to the previous snapshot all pads that were selected are not lit anymore
so there is NO visual feedback of what you toggled on or of , that makes toggle mode quite useless!, arturia fix this in an update

Yes please, dear Arturians,

MPK Mini has it and it can be quite essential for the work flow:
if you want to use toggles and the record/play functionality, for
example, in Ableton.
