Instability of software
« on: August 11, 2013, 12:07:12 am »
I am not a novice with Midi & DAW, however the Analog Lab controller concept is new to me. After taking 2 weeks to be able to register and use the product, I am now in a state of despair in that the product is so unstable I don't know if things are not working due to my ignorance, or errors in the software. I need to know, is the instability going to be resolved soon, or should I return it for a refund now and move to something more reliable. I already have the V Collection, so am not seduced by the sounds on offer. I selected MiniLab as I hoped it would communicate readily with the V instruments. I have software version 1.10.4 and firmware 21.01 Below is a random sample of issues encountered.

3.5.1 play a chord. Does not work

eLicenser error for Mini V. Materialising failed

Used to play Arturia Mini V.

Does not auto assign controllers.
Using up/down octave buttons causes chaotic sequence of notes in a loop
Pressing shift turns this into a sustained note loop.

5.1.2.1 "Tapping Pad 7 on the MiniLab". Does not work.

When using the midi control centre, the shift key triggers and holds a note from the selected channel.

In AnalogLab, there Wurlitzer and SE crash for no good reason.

MIDI control centre setting up pads 7 & 8 to stop / start with Cubase does not work.
