recording Roller use

Hi  is it possibel to record the Roller in stand alone mode

I got it to sort of work once but if i had my finger on 1/32 and slid it up to 1/32 triplet
it didnt record the same it definatly recored the ROLL but not correctly

To record 1/32 Roller, your pattern must be at 1/32 resolution.

or quantization off i think except obviously it may not sound accurate
