Ability to use an Expression Pedal as a Modulation Source

I find very little use for a sustain pedal with the MiniFreak. Would it be possible to add a global option to change the sustain pedal input to accommodate an expression pedal or a foot switch like an FS-5U? I'd really like to be able to use an expression pedal to control cutoff, resonance, pitch, amplitude, tempo, or whatever would be possible with a user assigned mod destination.

That would be a nice feature to assign the sustain pedal to at minimum wheel or macros 1/2 or other assignable destinations
it would avoid using midi cc to do this !
