I'm exploring a demo version of Rev-LX 24 in Logic (10.6.3) on a 2015 MacBook Pro (2.7 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, 8GB Ram) with Mac OS 10.15.7 (Catalina).
Unfortunately, the plugin created a system overload error when using. The fan kicked in as the MacBook got hot. It's strange. I'm only using a few tracks with LX 24 on a single bus. I was unable to proceed with exploring LX-24 features. The manual states compatibility with:
macOS 10.13 or later. It is compatible with the current generation of Apple M1, M1 Pro/Max/Ultra, and other Apple Silicon processors. You can use it as an Audio Unit, AAX, VST2, or VST3 plug-in within your favorite recording software, or as a standalone effect.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
