Transposing with connected synth
« on: March 02, 2023, 11:36:17 pm »
I have a BSP connected by the MIDI out (via a thru box) to 2 synths, a Moog Sub25 and Novation Bass Station II. I have one of them connected back in to MIDI in on the BSP. Everything works great but I would like to be able to use the keyboard on one of the synths for live transposition. I have got this working but no matter what I do it transposes both SEQ1 and SEQ2 at the same time, which I don’t want, I want it to only transpose one of them (so I can play a steady sequence on one and be transposing the other). Synths are set to different MIDI channels, transposition channel is set to the one I’m using the keyboard on.

This seems like it should be possible, I can do this when using the pads on the BSP, but the button for linking/unlinking transposition seems to have no effect when I’m using the external keyboard. Am I missing something or is this not possible? Any help would be massively appreciated.
