I've had an Essential 88 for a year and use Apple MainStage. I missed the heavy keys, so just bought a MKII 88 (and also kept the Essential).
The MKII will now be my "default" keyboard, but I plan on bringing the Essential for rehearsals.
Question: am I going to lose the programming of the pads and faders I had in the Essential when playing with the MKII (which by the way has more pads)?
How compatible are the mappings of the same buttons on each keyboard, when controlled by MainStage?
