First Step Selection option

I think a good idea would be the"first step selection",
Shift+"last step selection" button in order to select the first step of a sequence, it will allow to shorten a sequence or shift it of several steps.
For example selecting start step 3 and last 2 it shift the sequence of two step ahead

Was my first thought as well, but the difference is that you change the pattern lenghts with a different starting point.
