Can't save or recall Snapshots

I cannot store or recall snapshots. On page 27 section 4.6 the instructions give two options:

1) The exact preset chosen by these buttons is defined inside Analog Lab by clicking on the
blue tab on the left side of the virtual keyboard (the one labeled SNAPSHOTS). A virtual
panel will slide out to the right and allow access to the settings for the Snapshot buttons.

2) An alternate (and very quick) method of assigning an item to a Snapshot button is to
press and hold the desired button on the KeyLab for a little over 1 second.

Neither of these work.  There is no blue tab on my Analog Lab Screen and holding down a Snapshot button does nothing.

I am using the latest version of Analog Lab (3.2.3.2000) and the latest version of the Keylab 88 firmware (1.2.0.6). I did try an older version of the firmware (1.1.0) but it didn't make a difference.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I emailed Arturia support this query and just got this reply:



The original snapshots feature in Analog Lab 1 has been remove since Analog Lab 2.

But you can now achieve this using the new Playlists and Program Change functions. Here is how:

I- With the introduction of playlists in our plugins, the program changes now works in a different way:
MSB messages or Bank messages are now selecting the playlist.

1  = Playlist n°1
2 = Playlist n°2
3 = Playlist n°3
etc...
The Program Change messages are now selecting the corresponding slot number in the Playlist.

1  = 1st patch
2 = 2nd patch
3 = 3rd patch
etc...
* LSB messages or Sub Bank messages are not used anymore.

**Please note that in the V-Collection 4, the Program Changes works in a different way**

II- Now you can configure the Snapshot buttons on the KeyLab 88 to send Program Change MIDI Messages, Here is how:

1- Close all Audio/MIDI applications
2- Open the MIDI Control Center
3- Connect the KeyLab
4- Create a new template and give it a name:
 
5- Now go to the "controllerMap" Tab and configure the KeyLab as you need:
 

6- then save the template:
 

7- Now drag the template to a memory inside the KeyLab:
 

8- That's it, now to recall this memory, do as follows:
- Press the "Edit" button
- Press the "Recall" button
- Use the Value/preset knob to select the device memory you want to recall and then press on the knob one time
- Press again the "Edit" button
