DAW less music making?

I am new to electronic music production and have stumbled into this a little bit but am loving what I am hearing and experimenting with so far from Arturia.

My question is this:

I have SparkLE / Spark, MiniLAB MKII plus Analog Lab 4 (full version) and Pigments (demo so far but very tempted to buy).

Can I link / sync all this stuff without using a DAW?  If so how?  I am wondering about Beat Step Pro / Key Step / Key Step Pro maybe?

I am not necessarily against using a DAW but it is another piece of software to figure out (and buy) and it would be nice just to play - at least for now.  Recording can come later.

Is pure analogue gear easier and more direct?

I have the trial version of Abelton which everyone seems to use but I find it a little off putting.

Any thoughts gratefully received, thank you.

From one newbie Midlander to another - I think your only way of linking is through a DAW. There may conceivably be a way of linking each standalone instrument to a pad but I thin that would be much more complicated than learning Ableton. Let me tell you it's less complicated than Cubase!
