No tech support response, Arturia on vacation? Need help.
« on: August 05, 2005, 05:40:47 pm »
I just installed MMV on my G4 (OS 10.3.9, 1.47 GHz, 1 G RAM) and registered. I use ProTools. I use ProTools LE with the Digi 002.

On install despite the manual's description, I got no dialogue box requesting me to choose a folder. So it doesn't show up in ProTools Plug-Ins, as either an insert or in Audio Suite.

As a Standalone, it only offers the option of choosing internal audio. I use the  002 as my audio output. It doesn't see that.

Anybody have ideas?

I've asked tech support but I'm getting no response, nor any confomation of my request by email.

I'm running a similar system (PTLE 6.9.2 + 10.4.2 (Tiger)) and I didn't have any problems getting the Mod running on a G5 (dual 2G).

Is the Arturia Engine and the Modular showing up in the plugin folder?

(Applications/Digidesign/ProTools/Plug-Ins/ArturiaEngine)
and
(Applications/Digidesign/ProTools/Plug-Ins/Mg Modular V 2)

Is the Digidesign Core Audio starting when you start the standalone version?

If you go to (Applications/Digidesign/DigiCoreAudio Manager) and start the Manager, then go to 'Preferences' in the Manager and uncheck 'Hide Manager if Auto-Launched by Client' then you can easily see if the Core Audio is Auto-Launching.

Judging from your post, you know to check in 'System Preferences/Sound/Output' to make sure the output is selected.

That's the stuff I can think of to check right now.  Sorry if it's all obvious.
