Rate/Fine encoder?
« on: August 07, 2019, 05:05:16 am »
I bought a Drumbrute second-hand and found out the rate/fine knob is not acting correctly; probably the encoder. If i turn the knob very very slowly, it works, but the notches that are supposed to be felt is not there and if I turn the knob anywhere from a normal to fast speed, it keeps pushing the value back to about 30ish.
I have been looking for possibly a replacement part for this encoder and I've found out that Arturia uses Bourns parts. I'm thinking it may be a PEC11R‍, but I'm unsure. Any help would be greatly appreciated, if anybody has ever taken one of these apart before and knows the part number. Thanks! :)

Hi,

Old thread I know, but did you get anywhere with this? I have a similar problem.
