Polybrute USB issues

Hey forum,

when I connect Polybrute and my Audio interface (RME Fireface UFX II) to the same USB hub the audio from the audio interface starts crackling. Usually the RME is very stable and forgiving, and I don't have such interference issues with any other USB device. Currently the only workaround is to connect RME (and all other USB devices) to one USB port of my MacBook Pro, and the Polybrute USB to another port.
It's not clear to me what causes these problems. Polybrute USB only transmits MIDI and patch data, so there shouldn't be any USB speed or interference problems.

Any ideas, thoughts, solutions?

Not sure this will fix your issue but this device has helped me many times when faced with "digital noise" coming from usb connection of my synths in the past;

You just plug the synth into the inputs, and then the outputs to your interface.
