Increase Memory banks for Knobs
« on: December 10, 2020, 12:36:17 pm »
Hi all,

In order to control my virus rack (who has plenty of settings addressable via CCs (128 exactly) and via poly pressure commands(128 also...)), i'm was looking for a controller with some knobs, and i've found the new Keystep 37, and now in regard of the product's features and workflow, i'm hesitating to buy it instead of a midi control surface.

The point is: why not more memory banks for the custom knobs ? I'm a programmer (and also working sometimes on microcontrollers), and i don't known why there are only four banks of four knobs (or maybe a pure commercial reason)? Can i hoppe that there are still a few Bytes left in memory for increasing the size of the array used for storing the banks ?

Same (worse) for the Keystep pro... why only 1 bank of 5 knobs ?

Why not make this little firmware update soon...? (Wouldn't it be beneficial for you and everyone looking for a great master keyboard with many knobs?)

Thank you for your answer,
Vincent.
