completely new to this music stuff. So i just followed the instructions perfectly as far as i know. downloaded and installed all the programs and stuff needed to make it work. but any daw ive tested it in (reasons,ableton,analog lab) wont detect my mk2. ive tried manually also. downloaded midiox same thing, no input from the mk2. the only input the daws and midiox recognizes is my computer. the name i gave to my computer only pops up as an input... i bought an akai mk3 and the same thing was happening. took my akai to guitar center. and the audio dude they had couldnt figure it out either. my computers drivers are all up to date. my computer recognizes i have it connected. but still not working.I have no idea how to fix this.
