Solder the encoders on the keyboard
« on: June 21, 2021, 02:52:53 pm »
Hello, friends!  I ask you to forgive me right away, because I am writing using the Google Translator.
I am the owner of the Keylab Essential 49 keyboard, but after 5 months I ran into the first problem - encoder 1 stopped working correctly and with any touch, its value jumped either to the maximum or to the minimum.the same thing happened with encoder 4 after another 6 months.  the problem turned out to be just a physical one, since I tested the keyboard in 5 DAWs on 4 computers with Win and MacOS.  I want to rewire the encoders, but I would like to know where you can buy, or at least what the encoder models are called, in order to look for them on the websites of our Chinese brother), thank you in advance for your reply.
p.s.  I already have a similar problem with fader 1 and this is very sad (

Hello, it would probably have been best to raise this as a ticket with Arturia.

First encoder working bad in Keylab Essential seems to be standard.

Try my fix, with isopropyl alcohol, it worked for me, now my first encoder works like others.
