Hi,
I have eliminated 50hz hum coming from the Beatstep Pro using the splitter, by connecting one end of the Y splitter (PWR) to a separate USB hub.
I am using a Macbook pro which has only 2 USB3 ports, one of which is used for my Duet soundcard, the other for a USB3 hub into which I've plugged the other end of the Y splitter (PC). Problem is that the Mac won't see the Beatstep Pro via a hub.
Is this usual and if so are there any workarounds?
