AudioFuse Studio USB-C vs USB-A
« on: June 17, 2020, 03:00:46 pm »
It's been a while since AudioFuse Studio is out. I really considering buying one, but after some quick look on reviews I found lots of reports that "Latency is slightly higher". This has raise my concerns. I've found a video where the host is switching between the Buffer size and Sample rates in Ableton on a MacBook Pro 2019 and the latency is definitely higher than on my MBP 2015 with Focusrite Scarlett 2i4. But all these tests are lack of information on what type of connection is used, and is there any latency impact between USB-C and USB-A?

Ok, I found another review video, that answers to my question. All AudioFuse units are using USB-2 connection, so there is no differences between USB-A and USB-C computer interface.

Also, another confirmation on latency
