Switching Midi Channels like BSP
« on: April 20, 2020, 01:59:01 pm »
It works like a charm changing Midi Channels on the Beatstep Pro. Via the Config Menu is a hustle for live purpose.

bsp and original keystep have very quick access to midi channels .the new keystep pro is very slow if you want to change channels.shift+control+step maybe?

Just received my Keystep Pro today and this is one thing that is really bugging me too. Changing channel per track should be a simple button combo like the BSP, not a multi-step menu dive on a tiny screen - very unintuitive and a huge backwards step.

Hello guys.

This is indeed a very good feature request.

Would you mind submitting it to the support so it can be duly referenced?

This will increase the priority if this feature for future implementation.

Best regrds

I can't believe this isn't a thing even now, into July.  I just received my Keystep Pro this week and there is quite a few glaring omissions, when compared to my much older controllers.

This is where we learn to read the vendors Forums FIRST before purchasing a product.   That was the mistake I made, a bit too trigger happy and early on the purchase.   When the "Black version" is released in a few years the code should be at parity with the BSP and legacy KS, lesson learned.  Welcome to our little slice of hell.    At the moment, I turn my KSP on once a quarter just to keep it updated, then I power it off and wait for the next update in three months.   Gee, NAMM 2021 is just around the corner.   I wonder what could possibly be on the road map for KSP after its debut this year.  Anyone care to guess?   Good times.

Channel selection should not require menu diving.
