External keyboard controller noob question plz help !

hello. ive plugged my controller keyboard into the keystep midi in (physical) all the lights light up above the corresponding keys but it doesn't trigger the module, and also you can't record it.

however if you use the keys with the keystep you can record and trigger the module.

it's like i need to press a sort of 'send received input' kind of button or something i don't know what this though and the manual didn't say much about midi in at all.

Hi you are talking about the KSP right?  the midi in is not been implemented yet  I am testing this at the moment and will be on the next FW release very soon.
