MMV2 Loses Presets When Transferring Cubase Projects to G5
« on: July 01, 2005, 10:41:19 am »
Hello everyone,
I sent this to Arturia support but perhaps someone here has experienced this.

I recently got a Dual 2ghz G5 to replacing my PC.  Everything has been lovely, except when I open any of my projects on the G5 I find that all instances of MMV2 have been reset to the default "BassCelm" patch.  The only workaround I can imagine would be to open all of the projects on the PC and save FXP files for each preset, then reset the MMVs to those on the G5.

As I have literally hundreds of projects on the PC, this would be somewhat of a nightmare.

With projects using MMV 1.2, the problem is even more severe.  A couple of the older projects I opened on the G5 had MMVs where seemingly every possible patch cord had mysteriously patched itself to every open patch point.  The CPU was through the roof, and the projects were unplayable.

Everything else is tranferring perfectly, including complex sample patches in Kontakt with samples spread all over the drive (not fun, but they worked.)

Has anyone seen this?  It is a letdown  :x
Thanks!
Luke Iannini
