Greater MIDI CC Output Flexibility
« on: July 13, 2020, 08:05:50 am »
Having just the five encoders plus the mod wheel and Looper strip is extremely limiting when it comes to controlling other devices.  I propose making the following controls assignable when set to the Control track:

The Looper already outputs a user-assigned CC#, but would it be possible to a.) Allow its internal function to be toggled on and off, and b.) Allow a separate CC value for each division length pad?

The rotary and push functions of the main encoder should be user-assignable, as they serve no purpose when not in a menu.

It says in the manual that "when the KeyStep Pro is in Control mode, every encoder and step button on the right half of the unit can transmit specific MIDI data to external devices".  The step buttons do not appear to transmit any data at this time.

If possible, an alternate "Shift" mode for each of the five encoders would also be very useful.
