Compatibility with New Mac Books
« on: May 05, 2020, 09:24:28 pm »
Hello everyone, my three year old Mac Book Pro sustained water damage and no longer works. I a trying to decide if it is worth it to have it repaired, or if I should buy a new one. The estimate I got was up to $700.00 or thereabouts. It used to run Piano V and Analog Lab just fine. What I want to know is if the new Mac Book Air will be able to run the software. The new Mac Book Pro entry level has an 8th gen I5 quad core processor, and the Mac Book Air has a 1.1GHz dual-core 10th-generation Intel Core i3 processor with Turbo boost up to 3.1GHz. All opinions and suggestions are welcome.

Thank you,
