Binary switch?
« on: October 20, 2022, 03:44:10 pm »
So anybody know how I could set up a binary switch? I want to get a binary with every note event. For example each time you hit a key you get alternating 1 or zero?
Like I could have engine 1 first key press and engine 2 on the next and back again. I can do this with say a random binary but I want to just alternate between a 1 and 0 with each key press.

Am I making sense?

Hello,

You can in example try to do this:
1. Select Turing for a Random modulator.
2. Set it's Flip to 100%.
3. Set it's Length to 1.
4. Set it's Rate to whatever give you the longest Loop/ the lowest rate.
5. Select the prefered KBD Reset Source. In example Poly KBD.

This will make the current stage flip on Note On. It will work as long as you don't need the change to stay longer than the Rate you have set. It would have been nice to have a none loop option.

Using this as a modulator for one parameter using Negative modulation and for another using Positive modulation should make them work opposite each other. That could be modulating 2 engines Output volume.
