Pretty much my experience with it. What I ended up finding it useful for was sound design practice. I'd look for a patch that I like and try to recreate it on another synth. As far as usability, your mileage will vary OP. If you're a beginner and find all the knobs and options overwhelming it might be good for you. Personally I found the small amount of parameters you could edit too limiting for my music. Even the patches I did like usually needed some sort of editing to make them sound better and those options were never included in the given parameters.
