Somewhat unstable

I’ve noticed that AL4  seems to have a tendency to crash under certain circumstances. Particularly when trying to save changes in the comments section of any of my patches created. I’d say it dies about 50% of the time when attempting this in stand alone mode.

I have just tried to change comments 10 times using different presets without any crash. I will not postulate nothing is wrong based on this small test, but i can't confirm either. Perhaps others can confirm?

Are you sure it's not about the time it take for the preset to save?
Is it presets for a certain application in AL4 that crash for you?

How are your computer specs?
Are your AL4 updated?

Definite crashes, not hanging System, as my Mac Mini 2018 sends a crash report each time. I have seen AL4 unresponsive in the Finder too. As I’ve been mostly creating in Jup 8v, Prophet V and CZ V it’s most likely in one of those presets. Running Mojave at the moment as I’m waiting for Universal Audio to update their drivers for Catalina. AL4 fully updated. Seems very tempremental just crashing as I try and alter a typo. ‍♂️  Going to have another go today to see if I can pinpoint the problem.

I can't tell if this is about your system. But if you only have the issue in AL, then perhaps it's best to contact Arturia support through your account.

I'm on windows. Don't know much about MAC.
