Keylab 61 Getting Started
« on: April 21, 2020, 04:30:18 pm »
I have 2 questions. Using Pro Tools 8, Windows 7, 32 bit. First, The keyboard is recognized by Pro Tools and will play the plug-in's that are part of the Pro Tools Program but I can not see the 5000 sounds that came with the Arturia Keylab 61. Has anyone accomplished this? I want to play those sounds (plug-in's) in Pro Tools. Also , on the keylab keyboard there is a section where you can control the DAW you are working with ( like the transport and punch record). How do I get this working with my Pro Tools?      Help Please?

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Do you mean Keylab MKII 61? If so, then you can use the transport bar if you set it up like you can read here: https://www.arturia.com/faq/keylabmkii/keylab-mkii-tips-tricks
The old Keylab use Midi Machine Control (MMC) for the transport bar.

The sounds come with Analog Lab.
At this point in time vendors only make 64 bit plugins. The new Analog Lab is only 64 bit, so it can't be used in a 32 bit DAW. You need to install 64 bit Windows and DAW then.
Analog Lab have earlier been 32 bit too, but the problem using one of those is, that you will not be able to use new presets that only have been done for 64 bit use.
