I am newb so if there's a thread about this already please link to it. I just got the beatstep and I want to primarily use it for beats and for mapping the knobs and pads to instruments. I was playing with the midi control center to do some practice mapping, but the CC numbers are different than the controls in Ableton. So if I set vibrato in the control center, it will control something else in Ableton. Is there a better way to set up midi controls?
Also if anyone knows where some good tutorial videos for this device might be I'd appreciate it. I'm more of a visual learner. Would videos for the pro be comparable?
