I'm facing troubles on using the knobs on Ableton Live Lite 10. When I'm using the DAW Preset, the relative knobs work fine, but when I create my own templates, I can only use absolute mode.
I've tried all relative modes on the keyboard with all modes on Live (Absolute, Relative (Signed Bit) etc), but all works terrible.
I can't depend only on DAW preset because I'm using the knobs and faders to control multiple intruments. The first preset I use all knobs to change piano tone and FX, the second it's for Electric Piano, the third for synths, so on and so forth, and with DAW preset I could only modify 1 instrument, and with the absolute mode, when I change the preset and move the knob, it jumps to the last value from the previous preset instead of starting from the value from the current one.
What am I missing?
