Shift + filter knob to set how much signal bypasses the filter.
This way the filter can be used more like an effect, you can then use the filter to add an extra oscillator or at extreme settings without killing the original sound.
Personally I think all synths should have this feature but especially ones like the Microfreak where most of the character and movement of the sound comes from the oscillators.
I understand Arturia used 12db/oct filters to not take away too much from the oscillators, now please just go one step further
