Need Help using the Arturia Microbrute as a USB Midi controller for Iphone/Ipad

I've been researching across various forums/sites and discovered that there is? may? be a way to control synth apps on the ipad or iphone with the Arturia Microbrute?

For example: If I downloaded the Minimoog Model D app, I'd be able to, theoretically, connect my MB with my iphone/ipad and control the app with my external MB?

If so, what exact setup would I need? Cables, etc.

I'd also like to know if its possible to direct the output of the sounds into my USB Tascam 4x4 as opposed to plugging it directly into the PC?
