In midi Control center, it would be nice to be able to set other things than PITCH, VELO and GATE on these sections.
Two new replacement functions could be :
ATTACK (pitch fast exponential up&down)
LFO (or a kind of)
Then
A simple but so much important function to add is, for me,
CONTROL MODEs for the sequencers, of course. And if possible also the drums.
Let me explain :
- ATTACK would be a logarythmic brutal pitch up and fall down, to sculpt the attack on regular vco modules.
Being able to build the rise and fall in the midicontrol center would be a must.
- LFO would be like this :
(Maybe the name LFO is not the right for this idea.)
Potentiometers would range from -2 oct to +2 oct
And they would fluidly mix between each other.
Shift + Pot would help by quantizing. (-24 -12 -7 0 +7 +12 +24)
- CONTROL MODE unavailable while playing a vst synth on the keyboard of the sequencer 1 or 2 is for me a huge miss in this tool.
Would have been my first choice of functionality, really.
This upgrade could be available by pushing
SEQUENCER1 (2 or DRUM) + CONTROL MODE.
If there is no room for 48 new CC's, get rid of 16 for SEQUENCER1 would be a very minimum.
So the ableton users like me can shape the sounds and be happy with their purchase.
