Still don’t understand why this emulation doesn’t have bass pedals when the Vox Continental does.  ???

Hi Paul Milstead,
Bass pedals are available in the B3. Even if they are not displayed on GUI you can play bass.
Check the Midi input config in the bottom tool bar. You can change the input midi for bass.
