How do i do simple sine-wave sweeps

I'm sorry if this is a question too lame for this forum, but i can't figure out how to do the bog-standard sine wave sweeps very often used in current house music!

Can someone please give me a tip, or maybe even an example?

OK, I'm reading the manual like crazy, and i'm getting loads of really cool basses and such!

But these sweeps (that should be easy) keep illuding me!

Would it be possible to ask for a screenshot maybe?

OK, you mean a sweep of the sine VCO frequency or a sweep of the sine made by a filter? The latter is impossible....what do you want the filter to sweep if a sine hasn't harmonics to filter??? For a frequency sweep you can link the VCO freq to an envelope, and tweaking the envelope sensitivity offset to high levels then tweaking the ADSR segments to have the desired effect. If you want a continuous sweep you can link the VCO freq to an LFO with the previous mentioned settings....or you can make VCO freq-->LFO and LFO freq ---> Envelope  and listen to the effect !!!!:wink:

The optimal situation would be a "wiiieeeeooouuu"-sound!

Just a sweep fro a high pitch to a low pitch - but it would be important the sweep started at the same pitch everytime it was triggered...

Am i making any sense?

VCO freq----> ENV , raise the sensitivity and tweak the segments wheter you like a sustained sound ( press key---> "wwiiiieeeeeee<release key>iioooouuuuu" or not ; oh make sure you disable the Keyboard Tracking!!!

BTW: this applies to whatever modular or semi modular synthesizer, as I play a CS-80V and not a MMV ( never liked Mgs so much.... :roll: )
