No NKS after V6.1 Update
« on: April 30, 2018, 05:35:25 am »
Hey guys,
Firstly. The Arturia Software Centre kept stalling and crashing during the whole upgrade process and it's taken me nearly 3 day to update my V collection. even then it wasn't installing. I had to go through and manually install each downloaded product, so it is possible that this may have something to do with my problem.
Secondly: when rescanning the library in Komplete Kontrol, I'm getting prompts to find the NKS files. I'd assumed they would have been installed .
If anybody can offer any helpful input in regards to this I'd greatly appreciate it

After I finished with the updates the NKS was working properly after the following steps:
1. In Komplete Kontrol you have to rescan the plugins (the newer plug-ins from V-Collection should appear there after this)
2.  then rescan the Library to establish the new instruments.

After that it should all be working.
What version of Komplete Kontrol are you running?
I just updated to the new version 2.0

Worked first time for me.

The download was extremely slow from Arturia but it got there in the end.

manually install each downloaded product
Have you enabled silent install in ASC update settings?

And are all your path settings in ASC correct?

In case you use Ableton. Have you checked Komplete Kontrol 2.0 update notes in Native Access?

Thanks so much for your replies, it's really appreciated.
I do have "silent install" ticked, and have rescanned the KK libraries.
KK is version 2.0
All the installers are there but I have to manually install them individually from the download location.
A bit of a pain seeing as I thought ASC was supposed to take care of all of this.
There's got to be some mitigating factor from my end that's causing the ASC to keep failing.
I think I'll raise a support ticket.
Thanks for your input
