Same Fader -> 2 ControlChange Numbers
« on: December 11, 2017, 05:25:41 pm »
If i assign Keyboard CC Numbers in Modulation Oscillator Module and Complex Oscillator module the Frequency/Pitch Fader use not the same Controller when i change the Quantize switch on or off. I need 2 Controller for the same Fader! Is this a bug or a feature? I think that's a waste of Controller resources.

Hi Christian_S, and welcome on this board.

it has been done like this on the easel. even if this is the same slider, we have 2 different parameters. you'll notice also this if you look at the Buchla Easel V's parameters list in a DAW :
you have "COMP OSC PITCH" and "COMP OSC PITCH Q".

same for mod osc.

Maybe you'll agree with me , but IMHO it is not really common use to switch and tweak between absolute and quantized values in real time.

hope it helps,
best,
