LFO frequency range reduced in V3.
« on: March 08, 2017, 06:56:40 pm »
The LFO range on V2 is from 0.04 Hz to to 32.89Hz

The LFO range on V3 is from 0.01Hz to 20Hz.

But, according to what I read, the Jupiter-8 LFO range was in 0-40Hz. Roland site even say this on Jupiter-8 technical specifications page: https://www.rolandus.com/support/knowledge_base/201945109

I can think in the 32.89 max rate from the previous version as a average implementation, probably the Arturia guys were measuring against a particular Jupiter that operated on that range, I can see. Kind of stuff that happens on analogic synths.

But now, the max range was cutted in half.

This doesn't seem right, if Arturia wants to make a good engine that emulates Jupiter-8.

The max LFO range should've been expanded to fully 40Hz, not limited at 20hz.

I agree!!

Had the same issues with not being able to reprogram old presets in the latest version, still loading up the old version for this and many other reasons!
The upgrade from Vcollection 3 - 5 feels more like a downgrade...
