Auto-restart sequencer
« on: December 26, 2017, 09:50:27 am »
When changing from sequence patch to another, how do I make it so I don't have to restart the sequencer manually ?

This would be useful when playing live songs , containing multiple sequences.

Thanks.

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

You can build continous running sequences. You can for example build the sequences in a way where "Start" can be and is triggered by a running clock. Also the notes played is a concern if it depend on a speciel note.
There are different ways  to build sequences. One thing that work for one build might not work for another. So i think it's best if you study how ARP 2600 and the sequencer works.

But i doubt you will keep the beat totally steady when you change presets, if that's what you are wanting to do. I hav'nt tried though. You can try.

I think perhaps i would use multiple instances of Arp 2600 - more that one instance.
