How do I reset the Arturia keystep so it can function as an arp/sequencer again?

I've been using my keystep as a regular keyboard in my DAW. How do I reset the Arturia keystep so it can function as an arp/sequencer again?

There are only two modes, Arppegiate and Sequence, you can only be in one of those two.
You may have changed the sync mode somehow without knowing it to an external mode.  Check the dip-switches on the back of the Keystep and make sure they are set to internal.  If they are set to anything else you will need an external clock source for it to sync to or it will seem like the Keystep is broken.
