ARP and sequencer are non functional ...
« on: September 14, 2017, 10:51:21 pm »

Alright, so this morning I went to work on my latest track and I noticed that the pause/play button on my Keystep was rapidly blinking. The stop button when pressed is lit solid. The record/append button does not illuminate under any circumstances, neither does the tap button. My Keystep at this point will not record, sequence, arpeggiate or play anything back. It seems to operate normally as a simple midi keyboard via my DAW (Ableton). I did not see anything in the midi control center app that seems to be amiss. I have unplugged it, unplugged it in and even switched to another USB port. It appears to be bricked and I have no idea what happened to it. I've had it for 6 months or so and it has always operated flawlessly? I can post a short vid if useful.

Would anyone have an ideas I can try?

Thank you.

Hi sixsynth,

Are you sure that you're on the internal clock ?
Please check the micro switches position on the back of the KeyStep.

More infos here: https://www.arturia.com/faq/keystep/how-to-select-a-master-clock-source-on-my-keystep

.......testing.......
