Ableton Live - Control Surface Mappings - PADS
« on: April 02, 2018, 06:11:52 pm »
Hello every one,

I'm having some troubles with Ableton Live - Control Surface Mappings since I bought my Minilab mkII.
All set ups are correctly donne but I'm still unable to record trough the PADS. Please save me !

Considering I'm using ableton_live_lite_9.7.6_32 bits (already tried 64 bits)

01
In Preferences - LINK MIDI - control surface = MiniLab mkII / input = Arturia MiniLab mkII / output Arturia MiniLab mkII

02
In Preferences - FILE FOLDER - Use VST plug-in System Folder = ON

03
In Categories - PLUG-INS - I take Analog Lab 3 and I apply to a track. (analog lab window appears and I choose a scene)

04
I create a new CLIP and I can correctly listen to my keyboard. I arm the session recorder (in red)

05
In my Minilab mkII I press SHIFT + PAD 8
(if I use knobs 8 and 16 they work properly with Ableton, so I'm able to change tracks as supposed)

06 - here comes the problem.
I'm unable to see an empty clip in my pads so that I can press it in order to record.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong ?
Thanks in advance
