Drumbrute MCC will not sync

Hi there,
when i press a slightly greyed out Sync button in the Mcc i get a message which says
"Syncronisation unsupported for this device. Prefer using store/recall"
Firmware revision in MCC is 1.2.1.0
Can anyone help me with this?

The MCC message say it all. You cannot sync the MCC with DrumBrute. Sync is deliberately not allowed as it leads to too much messages.

Many thanks for the reply to my query.
I imagined something of the sort that you say to be true when i first saw the message appear in the MCC.
The reason that i doubted the veracity of the message is simply because i printed out and bound a copy of the manual... and Chapter 10 goes on at such great length about everything that can be done with the DB and MCC using Sync functions. There are many pages of the stuff!
Surely the manual cant be so far off the mark? Are all the functions mentioned in the chapter during sync not functional after all???
If this is true, the whole of chapter 10 needs to be rewritten.

I think the manual has already been rewritten... Please check the latest online PDF version.
