Using Microbrute in Cubase 9 on Mac
« on: September 23, 2017, 11:15:14 pm »
O.K. So you have probably had this type of question in various different ways.
I have tried to look at other thread but I'm not getting the answer I need, so... here goes.

I want to use my Microbrute in my tracks on Cubase 9.
But I still cannot work out exactly how to get it working.
I am using an Apogee Duet for sound output to my KRK speakers,
So I need to use my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 to input the sound. But obviously There are numerous questions here:
- Can I use the Focusrite while I am also using the Apogee?
- How do I get Cubase to recognise the audio input from the Microbrute through the Focusrite while still being able to output the master sound via the apogee to my speakers?
- How do I get the Mac software (predominantly Cubase) to recognise the input from the Microbrute?

Basically, I have not yet found a way for cubase to even show it is getting an input from the Microbrute (apart from as a midi controller via usb, which I do not want) and have not found a way to get the actual sound to output from the Microbrute into cubase, or into anything (like audacity, for example).

Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.
